This is my own creation. I used to make it in the oven, but the crock pot works even better. It's always moist and tender. Fabulous!
Kitchen Sink Chicken
Ingredients
1 2-3 pound whole roasting chicken (try using the roasters with the pop-out meat thermometer in the breast)
1 TBL Spoon Salt
1 TBL Spoon Pepper
1 TBL Spoon Oregano
1 TBL Spoon Tony Sacharies
1 TBL Spoon Garlic Powder
1 TBL Spoon Rosemary
1 TBL Spoon Basil
2 TBL spoon of Italian Dressing
3 TBL Spoon Butter
3 cloves garlic
1/2 large onion
2-3 stalks of celery
Directions
Melt 3 tablespoons butter and mix together with spices and Italian Dressing- keep warm.
Mix together garlic, ½ large onion and 2-3 stalks of celery.
Pour 1/4 of the spice-mixture and 1/2 of the garlic/onion/celery mixture into cavity of chicken.
Pour remaining spice-mixture and garlic/onion/celery mixture over chicken, covering completely.
Cook in Crock Pot 6-8 hours on Low
