One of our main concerns, as Mommas, is the eternal question: "What's for dinner??" Well- if you're like me, time is of the essence and by the time that question starts rolling around in your head, it's 4:30 pm!
For the last 2 months or so, I have used nothing but my Crock-Pot for dinner. You might think "That's an awful lot of soup, stew, and Brisket!" But NO! Let me tell you- there are SO many recipes out there that will knock your socks off.
I make my meal plan once per week and shop based off of that list. That alone saves time AND money during shopping trips. I figure out what I want to cook, make a list in a Word Document, print it out, then take it to the kitchen and cross off what I already have. From there I just add the other 'necessities' like T.P., laundry/dish detergent, etc.
That saves so much money and time because I'm not walking aimlessly through the store putting things in my basket that I don't need.
I put the crock-pot meal together in the morning while the kiddos are busy with breakfast or even during the boys' nap time. I turn it on and forget it!
We usually have enough left over for lunch the next day, or we freeze them and have them as impromptu lunches on a weekend.
The recipes that I'll post here come from all over the internet. Some were just tossed together by me based on my cravings for the day. I'll only post those that are GOOD, and have been taste-tested by me and the family.
If you have a recipe you'd like to add, just shoot me an email at AdansMommy07@yahoo.com. If it's super-yummy and easy, I'll post it here!
So, sit back, enjoy, and rest assured- dinner will be ready on time from now on!
Don't forget- you can make life MUCH easier by using crock-pot cooking bags!!
